This page explains what happens to the information you send through this website. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past.

What is collected

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

• the kind of coverage you are looking for;
• the date of the wedding, if you know it;
• where it is happening;
• roughly how many guests;
• a budget range, if you choose to give one;
• your name and email address;
• anything you write in the message field.

Only the coverage, the place, your name and your email are required. Everything else is optional and the form works without it.

Nothing else is gathered. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media tracking and no profiling of any kind on this site.

Why

To answer you, and to discuss and prepare a possible booking. In the language of the GDPR this is a step taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Sending the form is your decision; not sending it has no consequence other than that you will not get a reply.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is stored in this website’s database and sent by email to Alex. It is read by Alex. It is not sold, rented, shared with other couples, or passed to any third party for their own purposes.

The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. [registered address to be confirmed at go-live], which stores the data on servers inside the European Union.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after two years. If a booking follows, the file is kept for as long as the law requires records of a contract to be kept, and no longer.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to have it sent to you in a portable form, or to object to it being held at all. Write to the contact address above and you will get an answer within one month.

If you believe your data is being mishandled you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to: no advertising, no analytics, no third-party scripts, and no fonts loaded from an external service. The photographs and the typefaces are served from this website’s own domain.

Nothing at all is stored on your device — no cookies, no local storage, nothing kept between pages. WordPress normally leaves one small technical value behind to test how your browser draws emoji; it has been switched off on this site, so the statement above holds without exception.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — if a booking tool or a statistics service is added, for instance — this page is updated first and, where the law requires it, you will be asked before anything is set on your device.
