To briefly introduce myself.

I was born in France in the Paris region to a Swiss mother and a French Guianese father. As a child, my parents moved around France a lot. After several consecutive moves due to my father’s work as a hospital director. My parents decided to move to French Guiana, where my father was born and raised in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni. They gave me their passion for photography, developing their own photos. From the age of 11 until my majority, I grew up in Cayenne. I was surrounded by the most beautiful nature , a lush nature, the lung of the world: the Amazon.

As a black photographer, I have a particular sensitivity for photo post-processing, tones, light, etc. This reflects in my artistic approach to wedding photography.

My Professional Background

I started photography in 2006 as an assistant to several renowned photographers in the fashion industry. I also did some concert photography, which allowed me to cover Celine Dion’s « Taking Chances » world tour as Gerard Schachmes’ second photographer. These experiences are my strengths today to create a reportage with a marked aestheticism. Since 2011, I have been photographing weddings full-time: and I have followed nearly 300 couples throughout Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, France, England, …), the United States (New York, Virginia, …) and I cannot imagine doing anything else.

My approach

My couples describe my style as modern, spontaneous, fashionable, timeless and elegant. However, I like to describe my approach to wedding photography: as cinematic, organic, a combination of documentary style wedding photography, mixed with a touch of fashion.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in photography from the Ecole de Photo Effet in Paris. My photos have been featured in wedding blogs such as Junebug weddings, WeddingWire and Brides among others as well as in Vogue.

I love the human relationship according to which there is no more beautiful picture than the one of a person in love. I will be there for you during the planning stages before and after your wedding. This is one of the reasons why I love my job and being able to communicate with a couple and capture their big day.
